All activities within a significant archaeological area identified in Appendix 7D: Register of Significant Archaeological Areas shall have the status identified in Table 7E.1: Historic and Heritage Activity Status - Significant Archaeological Areas. Symbols used in Table 7E.1: Historic and Heritage Activity Status -Significant Archaeological Areas have the meaning described in Table 1A.2: Activity Status.
Note: Destruction, damage or modification of any archaeological site, regardless of whether it is listed in the Plan or not, requires an authority from the New Zealand Historic Places Trust under the Historic Places Act 1993.
